Super 8 Stage to Feature Two Groups of Four Teams

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the groups and fixtures for the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, which will be jointly hosted by the West Indies and the United States. The Super 8 stage will follow the conclusion of the initial group stage and will feature the top eight teams from the opening round.

The teams have been pooled into two groups of four, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals. India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Australia have been placed in Group 1, while England, New Zealand, West Indies, and Sri Lanka are in Group 2.

The Super 8 stage will get underway on June 19, with two matches scheduled for the opening day. The tournament will conclude with the final on July 16.
